Yahoo! Games a annoncé par le biais d'un article de presse, que des informations exclusives seront dévoilées à partir du 25 juin jusqu'à l'heure fatidique à laquelle le second trailer sera en ligne. (La date du 22 juin avait été retenue au départ mais elle a été modifiée) Voici l'article :

Rockstar Games and Yahoo! Games will launch the world-premiere trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV in high-definition. As the first official full trailer release for the game, fans get an exclusive peek at action-packed game footage from Grand Theft Auto IV. On peut en déduire que Rockstar Games s'est sûrement associé à Yahoo!, qui possède une meilleure infrastructure, pour éviter les problèmes de surcharge rencontrés lors du premier trailer.
